Got rid of the factory tint and swapped it out for Xpel 20% tint all around except the front windshield. I went with a ceramic tint and it really helps with the heat coming through the windows. It was really bad in direct sunlight hitting my arm but drove around today with it and didn't feel any heat! Highly recommend getting the tint done! I am in socal and got mine done from Coastline Tint and it cost me $575.

You had window film from the factory? I've never heard of that. Dealer-installed is all I've ever seen, and they never give you documentation on what brand/line they install.

PS is that a dark purple wrap?

im not too sure. my front windows were like a gradient there was none on the front two then it got a little dark on rear seats then a little more darker on the back windows.

its technically a satin red metallic but it looks more dark purple for sure

Usually the rear windows have a tint in the glass - it's maybe 20% (I could be wrong). Tint shops just tint over it. So if you had a 20% factory tint and then add 20% tint over the top you would be left with like 5% tint overall - almost limo tint. But yeah, factory tint is usually inside the glass.

Regardless, it's looking real good here.

Back around 2012 or so, Infiniti had a gloss version of a color that could be described that way, called Malbec Black. In bright sun it was either a deep purple or a deep burgundy red, depending on angle, but without the direct sun, it looked essentially black.

Agree it looks good. If you look at the markings on all your car windows, the windshield (all windshields) is marked AS1 (very high impact resistance and is clear except for a top few inch tinted portion (the AS1 line), and (on my older Tacoma anyway) the front side windows are marked AS2 and have a very light tint in the glass itself, and the rear windows are marked AS3 (darker tint, in the glass itself).
