Installed the new CA Tuned rear cargo shelf.

I also wired up an LED light for additional lighting when opening the hatch, which works off the factory wiring, so it will turn off as the stock units do. Additionally, I added some Diode Dynamics Rock Lights to it, featuring RGBW capabilities, and used their Bluetooth controller to activate them.

I saw him post about that awhile ago. Looked like the install was somewhat involved. You have to drop the headliner to install it, yeah? How was that process on the 6G? Pretty straightforward, or was it a process?

yes, and no.
yes you drop the rear on the headliner which is 5 push pins and the 2 side curtain sides and it drops down enough to reach in where you need too.
takes about 2 mins to do so

@ryno the lighting additions are pretty sick. What wires did you tap into? You have pics of that?

Also, how much storage is actually between the headliner and the shelf? Looks kinda small.

I used a 8 gang switch panel from Bulletpoint along with their mounts for it to wire up everything, all power comes from my "house" lithium battery power batteries, running 2 of their 108 ah models.
in the center of the rack id say there is about 8" or so of clearance , its just right at your line of sight out the rear view mirror, it doesn't effect any view.

@ryno Copy that. Looks good. What factory wires did you tap into for the MOLLE lights?
molle lights are diode dynamics and they run off a separate switch panel that is feed by my lithium batteries. the cargo center light is tied in with the factory cargo lights that are on a door pin, so when opened they come on.
