When at the New York Autoshow, I had the unique opportunity to have both a 4R Limited and LC250 together to do a quick comparison video (which I’ll link below). In a brief summary though, the 4R you get more bang for your buck when it comes to features, even when optioning the 4wd with center locker. The LC though gets a unique design both inside and out, and also has a rear locker and stander iforce max. You really have to upgrade the LC though to get the rest of the features out of it that come standard with the 4R brining the price close to $70K which is about $8K more than the 4R (non hybrid).

I do like the front end of the LC, and prefer the heritage "TOYOTA" over the logo used on the 4R. The front end is beefier, although the 4R front end is nothing to sneeze at.

However, I like basically everything about the 4R. The interior IMO looks a bit more modern and "tough" in a way.

Still debating on a 6th Gen 4Runner or a Land Cruiser. Land cruiser body goes pretty hard but the 4Runner is just a timeless masterpiece... even if they didnt get the front end quite right. lol
I get why people don’t like the double mustache, but I don’t really see it. Like I see it, but I don’t see it if that makes sense.

I bet adding like the trailhunter or TRD Pro grille that says “Toyota”I’ll make it more tolerable. I refer that front end tbh rather than the logo.

If they add a couple gallons to the LC gas tank and I can find one for actual sticker, I might swap the 6th gen for it... Have not seen one under $70k anywhere. And then if I'm spending $70k I start thinking of a TRD Pro 6th gen... I had the dealer down to $53,500 on a 1958, just couldn't get over the lack of power seats and the tiny gas tank.

I hear that!

Dude the tank is WAY too small.
