Drafting up this post as a guide/resource for new aftermarket rear bumpers as they become available.

Aftermarket rear bumpers serve several different advantages over stock.

First is protection while both on and off road. 2nd benefit of a rear bumper is potential added clearance for off road. Oftentimes times aftermarket rear bumpers are designed a bit tighter to the 4Runners frame allowing it to achieve improved clearance for increased departure angles. Lastly, a rear bumper can also benefit from the ability to add accessories to your rig like aux lights, recovery points, spare tire, and more.
