Sorry I’m a little late to the party. I literally just took delivery of my new 4Runner. Hope I can get in on the trial.

What's up 6G4R fam!

Looking for a few guys who want to test out these TOYOTA TRD Pro Style Passenger Dash Letters. Let me know if you're interested in testing a set, and I will send a handful of units out, maybe 5-10?

@Trail4R shared a post in this thread (https://6thgen4runner.com/threads/trd-pro-shift-knob-upgrade-6th-gen-4runner.981/post-4527) about another set of TRD Pro-style letters not fitting quite right on the dash. The image pictured is from a 5G, but the 5G and the 6G ironically share the exact same dash profile curve. I was able to fix that issue by putting a slight curve on the backside of the TOYOTA letters in Shapr3D. It took me a while to get the curve right on the backside, and I am still prototyping this unit, but after 3D scanning the dash and then test-fitting about 5 different prints, I found one that fits perfectly.

We have printed the final two-color version, and next, we're working on an install template so the letters line up perfectly.

If anyone wants to test these TRD Pro passenger side dash letters, let me know.

Just comment below and say "TRD Pro dash letters" and I will send you a PM. Also, what bottom color do you guys want? Red, Yellow (trailhunter version), trailhunter green, white, etc.

I think we'll cap it there, guys. Thanks for testing these out. I just finished installing the 5G TOYOTA letters. They came out pretty sharp. Once the 6th Gen 4Runner is done and installed, I will message you guys.

Here are the 5th Gen emblems installed.

Which would you prefer?

1. The letters closer together, similar to the regular TOYOTA logo?
2. Space the letters out a little bit, found on the 6th Gen 4Runner TRD PRO?

My initial reaction is that it looks good close together in a close-up spot, but when looking at that entire space I think it would look better spread out a bit more.

I vote for #2 spaces out a bit . But I will be just fine with either way !

Okay guys, the installation template has been finalized for the dash letters on the 6th Gen 4Runner. There is a noticeable taper from the left side of the dash to the right, so the template is tapered accordingly and is thin enough to curve to the dash profile as well. This allows you to line up both the top and bottom edges of the install template with the dash lines so it sits perfectly even on the dash panel. I've designed the installation template so that the TOYOTA letters remain centered regardless of the taper, so you can expect the lettering to sit perfectly centered on the dash panel once installed.

DO NOT SLIDE THE TEMPLATE BACK AND FORTH ON THE DASH!!! YOU RISK SCRATCHING YOUR DASH PLASTICS.

I am still finalizing 3M VHB tape widths and mil. I will keep you guys posted once these are ready to ship.

I would love to try em out. I just picked up my 6th gen Off-road Premuim in Everest and I was looking for some lettering for the dash and the possibility of putting on the land cruiser lettered steering wheel
