So I have officially "ordered" my new 6th Gen 4Runner, or should I say 2 of them. I am looking for a TRD ORP or just a regular TRD OR and I am trying to be one of the first to get one. I have reached out to several dealers and also contacts within Toyota to make this happen and I have locked something in. I can either pull the trigger on a TRD ORP in Everest or in Heritage Blue. I really like the Everest but unfortunately that 4Runner will be delivered almost 2 weeks after the Heritage Blue one. We are looking at a VERY early Feb to Mid Feb for some of the FIRST 4Runners to hit the central USA. I assume that the West Coast may get them slightly sooner, but not by much.

Those color renderings seem so far off from the photos I've seen. Too dark.
If everest were really this dark, I'd probably pass (I've sworn off dark color cars because they show every spec of dust/dirt and swirl marks and are a pain to maintain).
However, if the blue they were offering looked like this rendering, I'd like it.
But the heritage blue, in the photos I've seen, has a lot more white mixed in and I'm not a fan. I'm aware a lot of people love it though.

Looks like you're getting another heritage blue build since we all know you want to be the first to the YouTubes with all the details on the new 4Runner. hahah - heritage blue 5th Gen, heritage blue 250 series and a heritage blue 6th Gen. You just can't get away from there huh? lol

Yea this render makes it look darker for sure for both of these colors.

I finally saw heritage blue in person the other day (on a LC). It had the look of a single-stage paint to me, so I looked it up when I got home and apparently it is a single-stage paint. You may or may not care; just thought I'd bring it up.

Since Toyota charges a premium for three-stage paints, it seems like they should discount any vehicle painted in a single stage paint.;)

Some people hate hate hate single stage paints. I had Toyota's Super White (also single stage, and I think it's the same as what's currently called Ice Cap but not positive) on an older Toyota and after more than a decade it still looked good as new. Just saying, it's not a given that single stage is always a bad thing.
