Maintenance Intervals

The 2025 4Runner comes with ToyotaCare, a plan covering normal factory-scheduled maintenance, for two years or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first, and 2 years, of unlimited mileage of Roadside Assistance. With this you get 2 free oil changes. Typically Toyota suggests a 10K and 20K change. Do you guys change your oil sooner? If so why?

I always get an oil change at 5,000 miles. I have been told that it is not necessary since I use full synthetic, but it is always better for the engine in my experience.

What is the correct oil filter for the 2025 4Runner TRD OR Premium? I have been trying to figure it out and found the following options: 30002 04152-YZZN1 and 30002 04152-30002 04152-YZZA5, which is the element filter.

We have the Toyota maintenance, but we drove almost 2 hours to get the vehicle and it isn't worth it to drive for a free oil change. I end up doing them all on my vehicles and know they are done right. I've been searching and found a video that shows the 4th gen tacoma as being the same as the 6th gen 4runner.
