Finally cooled down enough in the Devil’s armpit to head out. Took the 4Runner on a 4 hour tour of the Yuha Desert along the southernmost portion of the De Anza trail in Cali. I was impressed with the handling and punchy response of the 6G. Rolls across the open desert like a breeze and ripped through the sandy washes easy peasy, hitting 50 in some stretches. I’m in love. The next time I think I’m overpacking I think I’ll read this sign. Talk about OG overlanding.

The 6G is definitely fun to drive. Like I said it's punchy, quick, and handles well. I'm real happy with it.
