I know it's not a 6th gen 4runner buuuttttt hear me out......I have an 86 Pickup SR5 (as well as an 06 4runner SR5 and a 25 4runner TRD off-road) with the 2.4L 22RE and a 5 speed manual trans. I was thinking today at work and had the genius idea of finding a wrecked 24/25 Taco with a manual...

I would change it. I did one at 500 and I'll do another at 2500.
