Who is thinking about trading in their 5th Gen 4Runner for a new 6th Gen 4Runner? The new 4Runner will be a significant upgrade both tech wise and performance wise over the outgoing model. For some though that may not be enough to give up old reliable for some new with potential problems. The main hope we have moving forward for the 6th Gen to be reliable as the 5th Gen it replaces is that it is still made it Japan and the powertrain is shared with both the Land Cruiser and Tacoma. This will hopefully allow Toyota to fix any potential problems early to make this vehicle reliable.
