Toyo Open Country AT3 265/70r18 installed on Stock ORP

Wanted something a little more dirt and snow friendly without sacrificing ride quality and MPGs like my Ko3s on my 5th gen. Decided on the stock size of the AT3s for now since this is a daily shared with my wife. Couple hundred miles on them so far and the ride quality feels just a tad firmer than the stock Falkens. Interestingly these are a different tire then the 265/70r18 AT3 that comes stock on the TRD pro... The sidewall design is less aggressive and chunky, and the tread depth is deeper... Woulda preferred the gnarlier side wall but oh well.

Picking my ORP tomorrow!! I also pit the Toyo open country at3 in a 275/70 R18. Only difference is I went with open country at3 EV. They’re designed for ev vehicles for more torq and efficiency. They slightly have more rounded edge and the lettering on the side doesn’t protrude. Talk to someone at Toyo about them they said they’re designed with less rolling resistance for slightly better efficiency and should be no problem on the 4Runner. You can barely tell they’re different from the regular open country.

Nice! I wanted to go up to 275 but I figured the EV ones would have been stiff as hell to support the weight of EVs. My buddy has them on his Rivian and loves them. Let us know how they ride!
