OEM Rear Cargo Lights

Does anyone have experience with the OEM rear cargo lights (p/n PT944-89260-C0)? They're pricey, even through Toyota parts online, but I like the idea of using lights that are designed to install into the vehicle.

I'm wondering:

• How well they light cargo area?
• Installation difficulty, including wiring?
• Are they automatic when cargo door opens/closes?

Are there after-market alternatives designed to install the same way as OEM, but are less expensive? I haven't seen any, but I may have missed something.

Thanks, I'm planning to get that, but wondered about the cargo lights in addition. It sounds like you don't think the cargo lights are necessary if this hatch light is installed?

I also looked into the cargo lights, and I think this is the most cost-effective option. For the price it's a better option. I'd rather spend that money on other accessories.
