Actually, after going back and reading some more, it seems like my questions have been answered and 275/70/18 should be no problem at all.

I've looked at the numerous threads on tire upgrades and still have a few questions. It seems most of the talk is moving up to 285's. I was thinking to move from the 265/70/18 to 275's. Is there not a lot of discussion on these because it just isn't enough difference or is it a logical move if...
