New ARB OME MT64 3" Lift Kit - In Stock At Mudify, Limited Quantities!

Had a set of these on my 5th Gen, too. Solid suspension. Great daily driver shocks, great off-road. Just an all around solid performing suspension for the money.

    1st 6th Gen 4Runner on the Rubicon: 74W Gen2 Portal Axles Review

@4RunnerNation thanks man, yeah we still need to figure out the rear as it's still rubbing on the inner fender. We did push the axle back about 1" with the Dobinsons adjustable upper and lower links but it's still slightly rubbing on the inner fender in the rear. We still need to trim the rear a...

    1st 6th Gen 4Runner on the Rubicon: 74W Gen2 Portal Axles Review

@5G6G4R to calculate the final output, you just multiply 3.58 (factory 6th Gen 4Runner gear ratio) X 1.22 (22% gear reduction). So the final output is 4.3676 or 4.36 for short. The 4.36 final output ratio seems to be perfect at speeds around town and on the freeway. I'll update this with some...

74Weld Portal Axles (Gen2) Review on 6th Gen 4Runner - Tested on Rubicon With Factory Suspension It's official, we completed the Rubicon with the 6th Gen 4Runner, thanks to the 74Weld Gen 2 portal axles. 74W said it's possible to just bolt on a portal and go... so we tested that theory. The...

TRD Pro or TrailHunter 6th Gen 4Runner What to buy?

Both are going to offer the same level of comfort on-road. They both pack the same drivetrain, power, features, and create comforts. The only difference is trim and styling, so no real noticeable difference in terms of on-road performance. Just depends on which one you like more aesthetically.

Winch Power Cable Wiring How-To Hybrid 6th Gen 4Runner

@orlyg1521 because on the hybrid 4Runner, the primary 12V battery is located in the rear cargo area. On the non-hybrid 4Runners, the hybrid battery is located in the engine bay, which makes wiring a winch really easy. For the hybrid 4Runners, you have to run a direct 2-gauge connection from the...

Few more shots of the new Toyota hitch pin. Here’s another one on Amazon that might work.

Trailer hitch part number pt228-89445 pin problem

@MikeDuffy yeah all the new Gen Toyotas have a specific hitch pin that's designed for the new double wall trailer hitch receiver. I'll send over some photos here in a bit. Super annoying. I have a handful of hitch pins that are useless on the new 4Runner. You need this part: 4RUNNER TACOMA...

Fast sharp clicking sound only when AC compressor comes on. 2025 4Runner SR5.

Direct injection systems indeed have a characteristic ticking or clicking sound from the injectors, but they usually don't become noticeably louder when the AC comes on. Weird.

6th Gen 4Runner 74Weld Portal Axle Build Thread

We flexed it out to clearance the fenders and flares. Spent about 2 days just trimming and clearing flares and fenders to stuff the 37s. Also had to push my axle back about 1” with the Dobinsons rear upper and lower links. Zero problems with tie rod axles at full droop though. Whole point of...

6th Gen 4Runner 74Weld Portal Axle Build Thread

Dissent off-road rear bumper installed. For now, we're going with no swingouts for the Rubicon to keep the weight down. After we finish the Rubicon, we will likely install the swingouts for a spare tire and then go hit some overland stuff this next season. This rear bumper is absolutely stunning...
