I bought my first ever off-road vehicle at 46 years old, because there is far more beauty to be seen and adventure to be had than can be reached on pavement. I fell in love with the 4Runner in '93, bouncing down a Forest Service Road on the way to a trailhead, dreamt of owning one when I sold the first of the 5th Gen 4Runners, and took my opportunity to cross an item off my bucket list.
