Removed mine Thursday when I changed oil and installed TRD skid plate. So far no whistling sound. Will track MPG - so far after 2k miles avg is 22mpg.

Changed my oil today at 2k. My drain plug is 14mm. Did the skid plate install. That was a bit more problematic to do on my own.

Changed my oil at 2k today and installed the steel skid plate - sorta. Don’t want to knock Japanese engineering, but .. removed the air dam and fiber protective piece. 4 bolts. Changed oil and began TRD skid plate install. It’s pretty difficult for one person job, at least at my age. OEM...

My first oil change at 2k will be this week and the front skid just showed up. So will change oil the install the plate!

I bought mine over the Labor Day weekend sale. Asked my dealer to give me more $$ off and the applied dealer discount 20% on top. Try negotiating if you can.

That is very cool to see if I want to go in that direction with my Sport Premium. Might not be as aggressive with lift or tires. Perhaps 18/17 wheels with tread for sand and local gravel roads. Thanks

TRD Sport premium? All the tech and comfort. Heated and optional ventilated seats. Part time 4WD. Cons - comes with 20 inch road wheels and tires. Depends on your off-roading needs.
